Organizational Chart of the CRM
Under the authority of the director, assisted by the deputy director and the secretary-general, the center is organized into technical departments, administrative services, research divisions, and shared research services.



- The technical departments, totaling two (2), consist of :
– The Department of External Relations and Research Results Valorization ;
– The Department of Monitoring Scientific and Technical Activities in the Field of Mechanics. - The Department of External Relations and Research Results Valorization is responsible for :
– Promoting scientific and technical information within the center’s field of activity ;
– Organizing meetings and scientific events relevant to the center’s areas of expertise ;
– Monitoring intellectual property operations, patents, and licenses ;
– Proposing and implementing incentive measures to promote the valorization of research results in the center’s specialized areas ;
– Monitoring services and expertise provided to third parties ;
– Promoting scientific partnerships with national and international institutions in the center’s areas of expertise.It is organized into three (3) services :
– External Relations and Communication Service ;
– Research Results Valorization and Service Management Service ;
– Scientific and Technical Documentation Service. - The Department of Monitoring Scientific and Technical Activities in the Field of Mechanics is responsible for :
– Monitoring and supporting research projects conducted by the center’s research divisions ;
– Contributing to the development of software for controlling scientific equipment ;
– Maintaining computer equipment and implementing IT security measures ;
– Establishing a web server and managing the website ;
– Implementing and monitoring the quality assurance process ;
– Maintaining and developing scientific equipment.It is organized into three (3) services :
– Research Project Monitoring and Quality Assurance Service ;
– Scientific Equipment Service ;
– Networks and Computer Applications Service.
– The Internal Security Office is attached to the Secretary-General. - The administrative services are responsible for :
– Developing and implementing the annual human resources management plan;
– Monitoring the career paths of center personnel;
– Developing and implementing annual and multi-year training plans for center personnel;
– Developing the operating and equipment budget proposal for the center and ensuring its execution after approval;
– Managing the general accounting of the center;
– Providing operational resources to the center’s structures;
– Managing legal and litigation affairs of the center;
– Managing, maintaining, and servicing movable and immovable assets of the center;
– Keeping inventory records of the center;
– Preserving and maintaining center archives.The administrative services, totaling three (3), are organized into :
– Personnel and Training Service;
– Budget and Accounting Service;
– General Resources Service. - The research divisions, totaling four (4), consist of :
– “Design, Industrialization, and Innovation” Division;
– “Manufacturing Processes” Division;
– “Three-Dimensional Geometry of Parts and Mechanisms” Division;
– “Material Behavior, Damage, and Surface Treatment” Division. - The “Design, Industrialization, and Innovation” Division is responsible for conducting studies and research on :
– Design and realization of new architectures;
– Development of innovative products, processes, and systems;
– Industrialization with integration of cost, tooling, and operational range approaches;
– Supporting innovation and optimizing technical solutions;
– Making decisions on products and managing production systems. - The “Manufacturing Processes” Division is responsible for conducting studies and research on:
– Manufacturing of new geometries, including cutting and grinding ceramics, cutting and grinding high-performance steels;
– Optimization of cutting tool trajectories using polynomial approaches;
– Surface finish optimization with control of geometric discontinuities;
– Machining of composite materials and tool wear. - The “Three-Dimensional Geometry of Parts and Mechanisms” Division is responsible for conducting studies and research on:
– Surface capture through reverse engineering and free-form digitization;
– Geometric quality of manufactured parts;
– Three-dimensional acquisition and shape identification;
– Integrated design of products and processes. - The “Material Behavior, Damage, and Surface Treatment” Division is responsible for conducting studies and research on:
– Mechanical characterization and modeling of surface and interface behaviors;
– Surface and interface morphology;
– Rough, three-dimensional contact mechanics;
– Fracture mechanics;
– Behavior of metallic materials.
— The shared service established in accordance with Article 36 of Executive Decree No. 11-396 dated 28 Dhou El Hidja 1432 corresponding to 24 November 2011, setting the standard status of the public scientific and technological establishment, is under the responsibility of a service manager and consists of sections.
